    Hi,

I planted some daffoldil bulbs in November (two different types). As you can see, they have come above ground but show no signs of budding. Is it because I planted them quite late? Will they come up next year or should I abandon them? I am worried there may not be enough soil in this bed. Is this a cause for no flowering?

    Thanks for your help,

What daff were they? I have some in mine that are the same, but they flower later than my others that are in bloom. If they don't this year I am sure they will this year.

They've not been in the ground long enough for the flower to develop within the bulb so I would agree that next season will bear flowers but give them some tomato fertiliser when you see them begin to sprout next feb
