Welcome back, Maggie! Sorry to hear your bad news - and hope being back in the gang here, and gradually getting back out into the garden will help.

It's lovely to see the daffs! I have lots of paperwhites in bloom, but they got blown over in the gales on Hogmanay, so I brought them in to put in vases, and they look lovely! (And smell good too!) Lots of other bulbs have shoots coming up - lovely!

Have just returned from walking in the Great Park at Windsor. The daffodils on the roundabout are well and truly out in numbers - not at their finest yet but who would be with the weather we have had.
Sorry to hear about your sad loss Chips Good Wishes for a better New Year

Tete a tetes are miniature daffodils that bloom early in January. I buy them in pots at 99p per pot from M&S. They are intended for indoors, but I plant them out and have acquired loads over several years. They come up every year and bloom right through February too.

My daffs aren't out yet, neither are the fields of them behind my house!!!!! Won't be long though!! They normally herald bad weather when they do flower - it normally blows a gale and batters them all to bits  Such a shame!!
Welcome back Chips, sorry to hear your bad news :(
