I have six dahlia tubers that I would like to offer anyone on this forum. They are too tall for the box that I have them growing in and keep getting damaged by high winds where I live. I am loathe to throw them away as there is technically nothing wrong with them and I would like to see them go to a good home. I have been growing the following dahlias:

    Dahlia Happy Butterfly
    Dahlia Penny Lane
    Dahlia Smarty
    Dahlia Mary Evelyn
    Dahlia Pooh

There is another one that I bought from B&Q last summer but I can't remember the name of it. When it flowered it was yellow petals with a bit of rust colour in them.

Are you needing any shorter variety dahlias as replacements? I am raising a load from seed this year again, so should be able to spare a few?

Hi everyone, thanks for your replies and sincere apologies for getting back to you so late. Unfortunately when I lifted the bulbs they had all rotted away for some strange reason. I had them covered over in the winter with plenty of ventilation and when I lifted them every single one was rotten and mushy and I had to dispose of them in the garden waste.
