Dahlia seeds - any going spare?

Always wanted to try and grow dahlias (preferably the globe ones), does anyone have a few seeds going spare please.

Any other flowers I should be growing in the greenhouse (the easier to grow the better) which will appeal to my 7.5 year old daughter.

How about growing some Coleus? They come up in a multitude of paterns and colours and are easy to grow.

Or Sunflowers? I have a few of these seeds spare if you want? they grow very tall and are yellow

 

Hi Alasdair, i don't think i have any dahlia seeds left (not coming up either!) but i will have a look later for you although i think they are 'drawf' ones.

I would take Stingo up on his offer of sunflowers - kids love them.

we already have sunflowers growing, the dahlias are for me, i might try some coleous (or cold tea plants as we called them-coz mum fed them cold tea). my daughter just wants to grow anything, she was outside re potting plants in to planters for her mum. her peas are sprouting in the gh as are her pansies and livi daisies

 

I managed to acquire a load of seeds last year, some out of date, some not. I've amongst this a pack of Unwins Dahlia Sangria, and Unwins Dahlia Coltness Mixed.
