    I'm about to plant up some containers with dahlia tubers. - 3 different varieties - should look fab in my new belly pots.

    One of the tubers has split away from the main 'bunch' - should I just chuck this away - or will it grow if planted?

    Ta:dbgrtmb:.

    @clanless
    Throw it away it is unlikely to grow. Dahlias sprout from buds at the base of the old stem, so without a piece of stem there is little chance of sprouting.
