Due to our area still awaiting for it's first frost my Dahlias (purple leafed varities) in the garden haven't been knocked back yet and as a result; although they've finished flowering, their leaves have turned fantastic shades of reds and oranges as they die back naturally; almost as good as some of the trees :thumb:

This is something I've never experienced with Dahlias before as they're usually frosted by now and then lifted to store for the winter.

Assuming we get no frost over the next couple of weeks I'll probably cut them back as the leaves 'go over' and store as normal...??

      Hiya Bilbo.

It's the same with my Dahlias, just gradually dying back. I'm just going to wait for the frosts to arrive (which they will) before I cut them down. Unusual weather eh? :)

      Cheers...Freddy.
