This lovely little plant seeded itself out years ago in our garden and we still don't know what it is called. It is in several places and all of them are semi-shady. Does anyone know what it is?

I think it's yellow fumitory, [also known as corydalis?] I have a blue corydalis which also likes shade. It grows like a weed in Wiltshire, but like the Ivy leaf toad flax it's worthy of a place in any garden!

Hoorayyy! I have been racking my brains over this one! We have a pink version over here in my garden, and I knew it began with an 'f', but couldn't get formium (phormium!) out of my head!

Thankyou too Liz! (and Kedi-Gato for posting!)

Thanks Liz for ID-ing it and Gogs for backing it up. I thought I had seen a blue-flowering one somewhere once, and now it appears it comes in pink too. It grows like a weed here too Liz, but I let it all grow where it will.
