Gosh, having been an ex-ice skater of the simplistic kind, I thought I'd lost my love for it but just watched this programme and fell in love with it all again ... it just gets better and better and better ... :yahoo:

I bet you just glided round the rink Victoria :blue thumb: I tried it once and fell over and twisted my ankle soon as I stepped on to the ice. Rubbish at Golf too so I don't do either.

 Hiya Rob, haven't seen you in a while.

I wasn't too bad, quite graceful I think :heehee: but a kid kicked me over in the start of a spin and I crushed my coccyx bone and I was told I wouldn't skate anymore ... but I was on the ice again a month later ... :hapfeet:... however, I can't lie flat on concrete or such like any more!

Golf ... that is for whimps and those who have no stamina ... it's not a sport but a relaxation for those who like that sort of thing ...

Hiya, I've been popping in for a read but it's been winter so the garden's taken a back seat apart from the felling of a huge conifer I cut down. Last of the buggers so good riddence!! Had a second cateract removed last week so at last I can read without glasses!! yeah!

Oh, excellent news on the cataract removal and hope all continues to go well with it. I thought about having laser treatment for an astigmatism but decided against it and got some new classy glasses last August (raspberry coloured fronts and rose print sides, lovely) but I only wear them for the computer and can read without them even on my Kindle. Hope you continue to do well. xx
