datura pests.

    my datura has holes in the leaves. It has been treated with vine weevil liquid but holes still appear, please help.Carolla1

    Carolla it has been a bad year for Daturas&brugmansias the cause has been capsid bugs they are like a giant greenfly and they move extremely fast they are sap suckers and their spit is poisonous, they puncture the leaf suck the sap the spit burns holes in the leaves,they are difficult to kill sprays with an insecticide containing bifenthrin is usually called for.
