Datura

    Hi guys and gals.In the summer i was given 4 verry small datura cuttings.The problem is thers loads of like little insects on them.Horrible little white things.Doese anyone know what thay could be please thanks.Also i keep them in the garden shed.Do thay lose there leves about now or is this the affect of the insects? :rolleyes:

    Hi D&D Datura are prone to white fly quite a few trigger sprays in the market will deal with them,overwintering depends on what variety, you should have kept them outside all summer and treat them as an annual they would have set seed then you could have composted the old plants and planted fresh seed next spring,if they are D.inoxia or D.wrightii they are perrenials they can actually overwinter outside with a few precautions.

    Thanks walnut.Im not sure what sort thy are because the lady just said thaty are daturas.Ill have a look for the spray thanks mate..daz
