A Picture of a Vulcan she seemed to be in a bit of a state I'm afraid..... as you can see was a pretty wet start to the day but it brightened up when we left of course. :doh:It was very interesting but will revisit to get some more images. A couple more to process and will post them on here. Your views on the image are welcome....:coffee: :blue thumb:

A good shot Cjt, it's just a shame there's all those cars in the background to spoil it.

      Thanks Sheal

It is a shame unfortunately there is a car auction site there so couldn't avoid them, also a bad day was raining, so thought it looked better in B&W.

I think it was probably a good choice to do it as B+W. I keep looking at that sky though. Is that as it was when taken?

No I have used a filter from PS on it ...just to give it texture.

I thought you had done something to it :)
It looks a bit too uniform for me....almost like wallpaper (no depth) . I liked your airshow photos though :blue thumb:. They were cool :)

Cheers I have such a lot of them I am going to waddington air show again so hopefully do better than last year, was a bit of a disaster almost every photo I took was out of focus out of the action ones but have a few good static ones will put those up as soon as I get chance.

              Thanks for your comments. :dbgrtmb:

Do you use tracking focus? AI servo on Canons. I had this convo with Sheal on the TT thread. I was wondering if you did when talking to Sheal. I posted some links.

No I have a Nikon D60 it is a bit limited I usually pan hand held, I found it hard with the sun facing me which is usually the case at air shows but I seemed to do better at Southport last time.
I am saving up for a Nikon D7100 hopefully have that soon.
The Canon I have is a modified one to take images with my Telescope which I am learning about now. Its getting to be bit expensive. I will check the links out.

Not an easy task is it
I am a sharpness freak, I check virtually every shot after taking it and zoom into it to check how sharp it is. I shoot in RAW and Jpeg.

No it isn't anyway I shoot RAW and JPEG to, I think I just don't take enough time to compose the shot and then regret after say to myself you could have done better than that.:dunno: Any way it all goes to the learning curve, I just think a lot of the shots you see on forums and sites etc is full of professionals and that has its advantages and dissadvantages through knowledge and then the kit they use which is thousands of pounds worth but I will keep trying

I think you are right. I took some terrible shots when learning, thinking they were good. I still look at my latest work, and think I could have done better. I think that's a good thing to a degree. :) I would have been happy with your airshow ones :)
