Well today provided encouraging signs for the summer ahead - hopefully..:)

In the sun today I saw numerous butterflies flitting about in the garden, species seen were; Red Admiral, Peacock, Comma, Brimstone, Small Tortoise shell, Speckled Wood, Small Copper & Meadow Brown.......at times several species were fluttering around almost together, it was quite surreal :)

no butterflies here yet but i did find two big fat green caterpillars on my primroses the other day though, not too keen on them eating my primroses tbh i usually move them over onto the buddleia's but that's not got all that much foliage on it yet so i left them where they were...ah sure i don't mind really, its a small price to pay to have beautiful butterflies fluttering about the garden later in the year :)
