Sadly we are in the process of downsizing our collection of these plants. They are almost all now infected with Hemerocallis gall mites and thus the flowers are distorted and not worth having. As far as we can find out there is no cure for this, so we are digging up a replacing with other things. Great shame really.

View attachment 3737 012.JPGView attachment 3737 Graham we all know Simbad is Queen of Daylily's on GC but I am trying my best to be King :paladin:

What varieties have you got as we will know what we are up-:stirpot: against

Here two of mine from last year Dancing Summer Bird & Desert Icicle asa starter

          Spruce

Palustris sound like you have the early flowering varietis which the gall mites realy like you need to pick them off as they swell and this should help

We thought that it was just a problem with the early ones too, but last year it was on every one, ear;y, middle , late, except H lilioasphodelus. This after removing all the flowers on every plant for the last three years. What is the point of having big clumps of leaves?
