I had hanging baskets containing surfinas which have completely died since the torrential rain we had 2 weeks ago. I want to replant them but am at a loss as to what I could plant at this time of year. Is it too late for summer bedding or should I wait until September and plant something like violas?
I am open to suggestions .:cnfs:

:) Hi Jaz.......Don't laugh but your Surfinas may have died of thirst, you proberbly didn't water them when it rained, rain doesn't penetrate the roots and they need water every day.
I would plant them up with Geraniums now upright and or hanging....they don't mind lack of water......easy peasy.

Nathan7, what's that trailing out of the basket in the third picture? I have it growing wild in my garden.
