Dead head lupins

Am I right in thinking that if I dead head the lupins that have flowered I will get a second flowering?

 

If Lupins are dead headed they won't re-seed ...however they can be cut back to the base when the first flowers have faded and you may be get a second later flush of flowers. M-L
