    Hi all,

My iris bulbs flowers have now died. What do I do with them now to tidy them up, deadhead them?

How far down the shoot should I chop them?

    Many thanks!

It depends on what kind of Iris it is. If it is tall Bearded Iris I don't let them go to seed. I usually remove the spent flower stalks and then take the foliage and make a fan shape out of them about 6 inches above the ground. In general I let the other types alone.
