    Hey all,

My sweet williams have finished flowering, the plants look almost dead, but upon closer inspection, its looks like there are a few new buds.

What shall I do with the dead flowers (theres hunderds of them) do I pull the old 'buds' out or simply cut the whole flowering stem off?

Hello, small orange giraffe. What a lovely name! I see you come from Venus and have drunk all the rum, but that's okay! :D As for your gardening query, I deadhead the Sweet Williams, stem and all and always get a second flowering, and sometimes third ... so, have a go! [IMG]

PS Remove dead leaves and continue watering if it's been dry lately on Venus!

Lol! Thanks lady of leisure, I shall do that this afternoon then. Think I'll leave the ones with a few new buds coming through and then cut off the ones that look completely dead.
