Popped in yesterday to spend some vouchers we got as a present at our wedding.

    We purchased:
Victoria Plum (Self Fertile) for the allotment
Gooseberry, Tayberry, Raspberry, and blueberry bushes, the latter being £1.99, The other 3 were £4.99 each or three for a tenner - look like healthy stock in 6" pots.

    3 x 33L growbags

    All for £27.00.

Time to get busy planting. Can anyone advise on staking for the plum tree ?

    Thanks

Nowadays you only stake the bottom third of the tree. So, get a stake and put it on an angle into the ground. tie it at about 2ft above the rootball.:thumb:
