Went out in the Garden this morning to find 4 of my Parrot Tulips have had the flower cut straight off,one of the heads was hanging by thread so i know its an animal of some kind.

Has anybody experienced this??? I,ve a feeling its a squirrel even tho i have not seen one in the garden yet

With this weather it could have been wind or hail.

Never thought of that, but have now just discovered 2 sunflower seedlings that were about 5cm tall have also had the tops mysteriously chopped off.

I had this last year with tulips and various other things, I blamed my neighbour at the time and thought someone was sabotaging my flowers but I reckon it was slugs or black birds. It is very annoying isn't it when you have waited for something to come into flower then it gets lopped off! I hope you find the culprit!

My Mum has had the same problem with her tulips and when she investigated she found it was slugs!
