Well here we are again everyone.. The end of another month & year and the beginning of a new one and you all know what that means.!!:D

Voting time again..!!! [IMG] I would also like to thank you all for taking time to enter the comps during the year.!:gnthb:

:) It is so nice to see new people entering, it's always nice to have fresh ideas on a theme.. The more the merrier..:)

:D This month is going to be very very difficult, as always, to decide on just three as there are so many superb photos to choose from!!! Voting will close midnight 6th Jan 2009 to give people who have been away a chance to vote
    ..s00k :D

[IMG]Here is a link to this months photos to help you decide..

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - Please give a short explanation as to why you voted for each photo..

    * The photograph with the highest points wins.
NO VOTES FOR 2 1ST PLACES ETC

    3. Votes should be cast within three days after this thread starting.

All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.

The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next competition, keep it separate from the other comp theme. So put your thinking caps on in case you are the winner. ;)

[IMG] Good luck in making a decision, there are some excellent pictures this month.

[IMG] Well Done & Good Luck to everyone.!!!!

    Thanks

    Marley
    :)

I've spent quite a while pondering and have found judging particularly difficult this month. Ended up with a 'seat of the pants/gut feeling/immediate impression judgement. So here we go -

1 - Rhylesgranny - Christmas Princess Super subject. Says a lot

2 - Roders - Top Cat Christmassy and amusing too

3 - Sweetpeas - Lights Out Captures a familiar and essential element of Christmas

I agonised over Redstar's 'Flower Girl' as to me it is an absolutely beautiful and stunning portrait, but it didn't quite shout 'Christmas' as loudly as some others did for this competition.
