December Photo Competition !!

    Firstly, i would like to thank all of you for your support in the growth of the site, GardenersCorner will be 1 year old on the 21st of December. I would like to be the first to wish everyone a very merry christmas and prosperous new year.


    Ready for the December Photo Competition?


    Please follow guidelines below :-

    1. Entries to be submitted by 23.59H on the 31st December 2005.

    2. The prize for 1st place will be 1 years subscription to 'Amateur Gardening' magazine
    The prize for 2nd place will be 6 months subscription to 'Amateur Gardening' magazine
    The prize for 3rd place will be �£15 worth of National Garden Gift Vouchers.

    3. You may enter upto three (3) pictures, pictures can be changed before the end of the competition.

    4. Pictures are to be of the theme ''Spirit of Christmas" .

    5. Please post your pics within this thread for entry into the competition.

    6. Please keep the picture sizes to a reasonable size, so that dial-up users can still participate (if you have any problems with re-sizing, please let me know).

    7. The winner will be decided by the users of the forum using a voting system as outlined below, and their decision is final.

    8. The WINNER will get to choose the theme for the next competiton.

    9. Discussion of the competiton will please be posted HERE, so that this thread is kept for pictures only.

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Competitors vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - The photograph with the most votes wins etc etc.

    3. Competitors votes should not be cast until after the competition closes and be in before 11.59pm three days after the competition closes.

    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.

    Haven't had time to even think about photos yet Nathan, but hope to get some good pics of the Spirit of Christmas during the holiday - and I expect most people are going to do the same! ;)

    That's a brill picture Kevin and I think there's definitely something stirring in that there forest.
