    Hi all,

Lots of questions today, I've got some money for my bday, and wanting to spend it on the garden to make it look even more lovelier!

Anyway, we have 2 bunnies who like to eat all the flowers in the patio pots. I can't seem to find any pots that are so tall that they can't reach them.

Has anyone got any clever ideas of what I could use to rest the pots on top of to make them higher?

Something more decorative than bricks and other plant pots (which looks horrid at the moment and not particuarly stable!)

    Many thanks!

A section of a log, cut them any length make sure they are of a large diameter for stability.

You could use old chimney stacks as pots. They look good and are tall.

The log thing looks really good from experience

I agree with walnut and egw
We have some old chimney stacks and they look great but can be expensive and we also have logs which are cheap and look good. Silver birch logs can look quite effective. Otherwise you can use inverted clay pots.

Recycled building materials yards sell them. Even plain ones are expensive nowadays- expect to pay £20+. [I just looked at where you're from- don't know about prices there :D ]
    They would look good though.

Reclamation yards and look up on ebay - they sometimes have them listed on there, you will need them to be local though or the postage could be pretty pricey! You can search on nearest to you.
