Decorators varnish

Well I never even heard of this stuff until a couple of hours ago, but I have at last found a wallpaper which I really like but it isn't washable, so I googled varnishing wallpaper and this is what it came up with, it looks just what I need so.................anyone have any experience with this?

 

Yep, I was using some the other day.
My boss thinks it good for use as a sealer coat on timber.

Personally, I dont, but he's in charge.

I think it could be much better for what you want it for though Val.
It dries quickly and does to not alter the appearance of what you are using it on, looks a bit milky, but dries clear.
Try it on a small area first, and let it dry, before going the whole way.

 

Cheers pete!! Yes I'll try it on a spare piece, I only need to do the bottom parts of the walls where the dogs rub up against.

 

i never knew you could varnish wallpaper! i'll have to remember this for when we're doing the kitchen
