    At last..
I have been waiting for months to get some sun on my face and today it happened.
I did what I could in the garden before collapsing in the chair under a blazing sun.
Ok I had a body warmer on, but it was soooo good to feel that power again.
I nodded off and woke up with a pain in the neck..
    Happy days..

Well done Robert ... it does feel good.

I sat and read on the kitchen patio for a couple of hours this afternoon after laundering/cleaning and it felt quite hot at 19c ... now at 13c it feels quite cool.

Take care, enjoy your relaxing moments and speak soon. xx

It's been a fantastic day today. Just nice to be able to get outside and not feel cold. Managed to get quite a lot done in the garden. Could do with another day the same tomorrow!

Truly wonderful today, but I would not jump into full speed ahead just yet.
There is another cold spell on the way and you do not want to be caught out.
As Ihave learned in the past, it is better to wait a while before going at it like a bull in a china shop.
Some of us on here can remember those cold and dreary days of March frosts and April snow on the ground.
I have been out to do some clearing up after the winter gave way to a glimmer of spring. Cut back shrubs and scrapped up odd leaves which have been blown in. Other than that I have cleared ground of forget me nots and this will allow them to grow over what has been a good season for them last year.
Cut back the climbing roses and tied them in too.

Good to know you're not overdoing it Robert.
I've spent yesterday and this morning tiling our new kitchen but as I have run out of tiles I did a bit in the garden, no sun here though but mild at 13c.:)

Great day up in Fife at last
I managed to almost finish my veg bed project, all the really hard work done
just 20 bags of compost to dig in to the cleaned soil area , which hopefully I can complete tomorrow providing it has not poured down with rain,
A bit of frost tonight would be good, and it seems like we will get some as the sky is crystal clear, anyone noticed the MOON tonight, at 19:00 it was just the smallest of upside down crecents, like an eclipse from the top down, now it is gone?

I noticed the moon Jack, just a slither wasn't it? :) It was a beautiful sunny day here, but I decided to re-pot two mammoth indoor plants on the kitchen floor. One a 6ft Ficus Benjamina, the other a large parlour palm, it wasn't easy! :rolleyespink:

I saw it too. It was quite impressive. It was very low above the horizon when I saw it earlier, and it was just a slither of burnt orange.
