Going to Portugal today for my holidays for 10 days and went for a final walk round the gardens to see if the plants enjoyed last nights rain, must have been heavy, my big grasses and cotton lavender have been flattened a bit. Anyway, actually had a moments despair at going on holiday, my delphiniums are now flowering, the colour is only just poking through, but the plants look absolutely fantastic this year, they are really big, loads of blooms and I am really chuffed, but am i going to completely miss them in their full glory. Do they flower and finish as quickly as lupins, i know they get a second flush but what about delphiniums.

Yes, they do. You can cut the flower head off and new flower spikes will form, so if you miss yours you get a second go! [IMG]
