Design a garden on the computer

Hi All

I mate in work has asked me , does anyone know of a free "Garden Design" they could use to plan out the garden also to include plants to give them some ideas on the web ?

Any advice appreciated

The trial version only has limited flowers/veg
There are lots of trial software for gardens
You need to use the words CAD software in your search

You could try virtual garden. I used to use it a lot but only use Sketchup now, which has no plants in it but you can create layouts more accurately than on the virtual garden program, also 3d structures etc

Plantify has a garden design tool, once you register (free) on the site. Absolutely no idea whether its any good or not, but Plantify seem to be setting themselves up as a Mover & Shaker ... so it might be

Shoot have one too, but you have to pay to be a member of their site. They win awards though. No, I haven't paid ... so I don't know
