I'm tempted by the seeds of this old-fashioned variety that T&M are offering. The picture in the catalogue online displays bunches of lovely rich-red double blooms but a photo on a site called Davesgarden shows a rather less abundant display (resulting from a T&M sowing) of single blooms of a rather different colour than those in the catalogue! The davesgarden gardener apparently sowed his seed in March and got this result by August. The T&M description says they won't flower until Autumn.
Has anyone any experience of how these seeds perform, please?

Not tried that one, but regarding the flowering time, bear in mind Daves Garden is an American site and may have been sown in better a climate than ours and flowered earlier. Give it a try. [IMG]
