This morning a friend of mine told that he just bough a 5 feet cordyline for £15 , I went to the garden center and end up spend £200 : ( ...
but most shocking I finally bough a 5 feets Dicksonia Antartica for £45 (still one more left)....
Please should I cut the leaves and overwinter in the green house or plant in the soil and leave outdoor (the plant was undercover).

Dont cut the leaves off. Keep it outside for now.

I would keep in the pot and move it if a cold snap is forecast. Then plant it out in spring.

For mild frosts etc put something into the crown, frost fleece is ideal, but anything similar will do for short periods.
