Did I plant this on purpose?

No label - which I'm usually pretty good at keeping - and I really don't remember planting anything new in this spot, but at the same time it does look vaguely familiar  Any thoughts on what it is?

    Hi @2nd_bassoon ,
I'm not 100% sure but it could be a Campanula. Possibly C. Persicifolia.

That certainly looks similar, thanks. It would be an impressive interloper if it is - I definitely didn't plant one, and there isn't one in either my garden or the ones either side!
