Dig for Victory - how us gardeners can beat the virus

As gardeners we can all help ourselves and our communities using our knowledge and experience. I've been growing early crops of salad leaves and forcing carrots in my greenhouse. Spuds are a great food staple so those of us with space should try and grow an early crop in containers, bags or whatever you can lay your hands on. My allotment neighbour has a brilliant plan:
