Rosa. The digital camera I had for xmas is a Kodak easy share C360 5.0 mega pixels.

The pictures never look much good on the LCD screen at the back of the camera, but come out fine on the PC.

I think my husband paid under £200 for it and it does quite a good job.
Perhaps some of the other members might be able to help you out with some more advice.

    Hi rosa,

Have a look at this review site, I used it before I bought mine.

    http://www.dcviews.co.uk/cameras.htm

Amazon.co.uk also has great reviews for products at the bottom of the screen.

I bought a sony cybershot 7.2MP from amazon and its great. There are new ones coming out all the time and the last time I looked the updated version of mine was a DSC-P200

    http://www.pcworld.co.uk/product.php?sku=672043&camp_id=kelkoo_search

This deal seems pretty good but make sure you use
www.kelkoo.co.uk to check prices against eachother.

When you are looking check what memory cards come with the camera as you usually end up buying an upgrade when they are only 32MB or less.

I also bought an additional memory card so I could take loads of photos without off loading them as frequently

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00064OHAO/202-3374014-6972617?v=glance&n=560798

This is a very good price and half what I paid a year ago.

I hope this is useful to you.

Was going to get olympus bit cheaper then i noticed that it just had AA batteries and they as you know bm dont last long, and this one although it is £199 was the better option with battery charger included and they are around £20.
The olympus was 5 pixels this sanyo is 6 pixels.

I have another camera- daughter has updated again to a very posh top-of-the range Canon costing with all accessories [and presumably gold plating ! [IMG] ] around Ã?£1000- so I have the old more mundane Fuji S3000 with lots of bits and bobs. Reviews say it has a delay between button pressing and actual picture taking, also something about only one ISO speed[?] which I do not understand. As I am not too steady handed to begin with I am a bit worried, but not bad for free. [IMG] At least I have instructions for this one!
My grandson Harry [8] will be recycling the Fuji A101 as he is quite nifty with it. I just need to show him how to download his pictures! [IMG]

BM I have Paintshop pro 5 and Photoshop 5, have you tried any of the free editing facilities?
