    Hi Rosietu,

I tend to take some of my bulbs up over dormant period, keep 'em dry and re-plant [IMG]

I am always planting and don't always keep a log where things go (naughty) I seem to be always digging up my bulbs which although might seem bad seems to work out fine for me as I have manage to save an awful lot from going rotten in the clay part of my garden. ;)

    Mornin Helen :D

What's a log [IMG] , nah really, i just have mine all mapped out on a word document, the old fashioned way.

The only change i have made is this time i made sure it was to scale [IMG]

I should really record what i'm planting shouldn't i [IMG]

I'll knock up a word doc like you i think Paula, if you dont mind me nicking your idea, i'll keep it to scale too [IMG]

Currently i'm using the shoot web interface, but i'm finding it doesn't find most plants i get, especially the varieties.

Paula swells up with bashful pride [IMG]

Of course ya can :D , just remember to make sure it is to scale, sometimes with such a large space i have been known to forget the eventual size of what i plant

Marking bulb potions - I am a decorative painter & I pain lots of garden items. I take pebbles from the garden and paint the specific flower on them using patio paint and lay one over each clump of bulbs. Not only does it help you find the buls but it makes an empty space look prettier. I painted some when I was a guest on a tv gardening programme and they loved them!

Geesh. If I can find a bulb/corm etc. 2 days after planting it I demand steak for dinner. If I lose it then my jobbing gardener finds it.....and pours weed killer over it ('It wasn't marked Guv. So it must be a weed.'). He's funny that way. [IMG]
