discoloured grass

    hi all
    what is the best way to get my grass heakth and green i have been feedinf it with lawn feeder but its still not green and lush

    Hi grovsey and welcome. If your area is anything like ours we are in drought conditions at the moment and everything is turniing brown, we keep getting told to watch out for thunderstorms and never see them. I would hold off the feed in this hot weather, don't mow unless you have had a lot of rain, and let your lawn recover a bit, it should green up again.

    Much the same weather on the Jurassic coast.

    A good guide are the neighbours' lawns

    hi Grovsey. i always give the grass a good spray down ,after every cut,especially the edges,ie paths
    borders,edging stones, etc .especially if using a strimmer for the borders.i find the grass gets torn with strimmers, and a good soaking heals the damaged blades of grass.it has worked for me. i have cut the grass (not watered) yellow patches appear ,especially the edges.i have cut the grass and then watered,(no yellow patches).i am looking out the window at my lawn (which i cut 3 hours ago,and it is green, no yellow / brown discolouration . you can only try (dont cost nowt ). music
