So, I'm busy weeding around the one shrub that I kept and I noticed something showing new life ... it's a clematis :dancy: (I've pretty sure, because I have two which I brought with me and are still in tubs).

Weird that I never noticed it when we came here and this one has certainly been in situ for quite a number of years judging by the thickness of the stem. Anyway, the exciting thing now is ... to see which variety/colour it will be. Can't believe how excited I felt over this :heehee:

              Several elements required for that:-
              1. It must flower
              2. I must locate the camera charger
              3. I must ensure computer monitor is plugged it at the transformer
... then it will be chocks away! :blue thumb::heehee:

I think 1) is probably more possible than 2) "M",

I haven't given up hope Jenny ... I *know* it is here somewhere - I just haven't looked at the spot it is hiding in: yet! But, I'm wading through it all, slowly but surely :rolleyespink:

Hope you find it before we put the clocks back - would be a pity to miss a whole growing season,

You're hooked "M", definitely hooked! If you were to say that to a non-gardener they'd think you were loopy! I know this because of the look I get from my other half when I say such things. He thinks all gardens should be concrete.

Well I hope you find the charger as I'd love to see a piccy. I'm getting addicted to Clems myself and there are a few that will do well in a north facing garden! :hapydancsmil:

@Fern4 - I'll need to put a picture up at some point when it's in flower because I'll need someone to tell me the variety! :heehee:
The place I found it hiding is more of a westerly direction, so it does get a handsome amount of sun for much of the year (just not in winter). Hmm, guess I'll have to learn how to propagate the sneaky beggars now and then I'll be able to send you a piece ;)

I have tried to grow several Clematis and they have all died on me. I love the ones with the really huge, floppy purple flowers. I'm gonna try again this year (Aldi are bound to get some in at some point!)
