So that's what it's like down in the banana-belt BM :D By the time I managed to get out looking for snowy snaps most of our snow had turned to slush :(

 

We have had it pretty thick here Dave.

 

Cracker of a pic above BM!!!A really unusual combination of snow and vegetation. Might be worth an entry into the monthly comp.

 

Do you think ? It had crossed my mind but I hadn't really thought about my style for this month. Maybe I will have a punt with it :D

having just looked at the photo's submitted so far, I wondered if the people submitting photo's to this competition could put a brief description of the alterations/enhancements made to their photo. Not that it would alter my appreciation of the photo or influence my thoughts come voting time, but purely so we can see what has been done.

(I don't mean a long list, just along the lines of 'changes in contrast and levels' or 'noise added' and the like.)

that way, if there is a particular effect that someone likes, they can attempt it themselves!

Just added the details (as far as I can remember them) to my pics.

 

I am a bit confused. Some of the Creative comp pictures seem to be of more than one picture ? Is this the case ?

Not wishing to pi55 anyone off god forbid :rolleyes: but is layering of different pictures allowed. I don't know if this is the case with some pictures but I have discounted a couple of ideas on the basis that this rule exists ?

6.You CAN use software for enhancement or manipulation of a single original image. This may include submission of an image comprising multiple layers of the original image.

I don't mind just want to make sure I am playing fair. :D
