Discussion Thread for the Autumn - Fall Colours Photo Comp 2012

When is this comp closed for entries? I notice in the actual comp topic it says end of the month which gives us all a week...but no autumn colours here in Cumbria yet...well certainly nowhere near it's peak anyway.

Hi Steve, the thread states:

so the "end of the month" is in reference to the end of the month of November HTH

A stunning range and diversity in the photos entered, I'be voted now but I thought I should also post the following.

Sheal - Berries. Nice diaginal composition and great use of shallow depth of field. I love the simplicity of this photo.

Bilbo675 - Red Oak. Another nice simple shot, highlighting both the colour and shape of this leaf.

wiseoldowl - Virginia Autumn Castle. Simply stunning colour!

Dave W - Autumn Shadow. Great diagonal composition and clever use of the shadow too.

Armandii - Basket of Autumn. An appealing shot.
