Hi guys. We would like to take the g/children there in the Spring. Ideally by air from S'ton airport but if not, any way will do. We are having problems doing this via the net. Most need you to be at St. Pancras by 9.30 am. Not an option if you live on the South Coast. The air route seems to take you via Manchester, that doesn't seem too clever either:skp:
Anybody know of any Agents etc. that organise this sort of thing.:help:

So far as I can see, Air France do direct flights from Southampton to either Orly or Charles de Gaulle (both reasonably close to Disneyland).

I did a 'guesstimate' booking (2 adults and 2 children under 12, travelling on Saturday 2nd April 2011) and the total comes out at £494, including taxes.

You could give them a call - Tel: 0871 66 33 777 (calls are 10p. a minute from BT landline).

Just as a BTW - even going by Eurostar (at 09.3O) the journey takes just over 2½ hours, so you wouldn't actually get there until 13.00 (local time) and the train departs again about 7 pm, (local time) arriving back around 9 pm (UK time).

In the circumstances, you might want to think about a 'short break' deal, there are a number of places you can book through for a 1 night stay.

Cajary - you can drive to Ashford, Kent (M3/M25/M20) to catch the Eurostar train rather than having to be in St Pancras early in the morning.

Most travel agents I am sure can offer package trips to Disneyland, Paris,

Just as a follow up, you'd do better to drive to Ebbsfleet just off the A2 - more trains to Paris stop there than they do at Ashford and the car park is massive.

My lot always booked Euro Disney on a deal & then went Eurostar at their own timing... All always had a great time....

Cajary.. A word of warning if taking a Spring deal... Take plenty of warm clothes but also wet weather... Over the years my lot have been 5 times & that is the only word of warning... Plenty of clothes... Queuing for rides makes you cold..!!!!! You do queue despite what they might say..!!:thumb: Have a great time..!! :yho:

Thanks for all the advice, guys. :gnthb: Driving isn't an option so we've managed to find a trip that goes from S'ton airport. That'll kill 2 birds with one stone. The g-children haven't flown before.
I hope they leave me alone long enough so that I can have a cuddle with "Minnie":D
