    oh sorry i said it all wrong...know were my tiger pic is ..i mean there.

    At the top of the screen on the right, click on 'my profile'.

    Click 'edit profile' on the top left, scroll down to 'Profile fields' heaing (in dark blue), find 'avatar image' , click on 'Select a different Avatar image' . At the bottom of this screen you will see 'Use custom URL', enter the url from an image hosting site ie Photobucket, and save changes, voila done .
