I bought a lovely passion flower a couple of weeks ago, it's grown brilliantly so far but some of the upper leaves have gone crinkly - is this normal or has my beloved plant got the lurgy? :(

Hi Jay I too bought a Clematis Aromatica and the first flowers,as they opened had only half the petals, looked they had been nibbled, found the Culprits tho in rim of the big pot... slugs....but now the flowers are perfect and twice the size and no slugs in sight lol...not sure about crinkled leaves...earwigs can do damage to young shoots or buds too, also Aphids..
I suggest remove all the damaged leaves, burn them and add a systemic to your soil,to prevent futher damage. Good luck !

Looking at the plant after a good downpour and a growth spurt, I've come to the conclusion that the leaf thing is actually normal! Lol! Thanks for the replies anyway!
