DIY: Kokedama String Gardens

    I came across this just now and it looks pretty interesting:

    I've got loads of moss at the mo after scarifying the lawn last week, has anyone tried this? Or can think of good plants to try it with?

    I used to line my baskets with moss but the sparrows around here kept stripping them bare for nesting. :gaah:

    I`ve tryed Kokedama years ago , sparrows took all the moss and 1 week without the water and the plant die , overall I`ve changed all with my version inspire by a trip in thailand , I`ve called coccodama :) (sure not mine idea)........

    I use bromeliad and other plants , easy to move around and the shell retain more water.
