DIY: Kokedama String Gardens

I came across this just now and it looks pretty interesting:

I've got loads of moss at the mo after scarifying the lawn last week, has anyone tried this? Or can think of good plants to try it with?

What do you think?

 

I used to line my baskets with moss but the sparrows around here kept stripping them bare for nesting.

 

I`ve tryed Kokedama years ago , sparrows took all the moss and 1 week without the water and the plant die , overall I`ve changed all with my version inspire by a trip in thailand , I`ve called coccodama (sure not mine idea)........



I use bromeliad and other plants , easy to move around and the shell retain more water.
