I have been growing Dieramas for the last few years. This is the first of a batch of seedlings that i was planning to sell in flower. They are seed from a white flowered variety. I quite like the depth of colour in this one and it has a dark centre. Will have to get a photo looking into the flower tomorrow. The plant has bulked up well, there are obviously about 5 bulbs in the cluster and it is only 2 years old. The closest named variety to this seems to be 'Lancelot'. Does anyone grow the Dierama Lancelot and is this significantly different from that? I am wondering whether to hang on to this and use it as a stock plant. What do you think?

I have just bought lancelot, but it isn't in flower yet. I think my mum has got it to, a few years old and possibly flowering. I'm popping down there later so i'll have a look for you.

I have an unusual plant that is about to flower and is in its bud stage, 1 foot long, the edge of the flower is burgundy. One of my friends called it dragons foot as the leaves resemble a dragons foot.soon as it flowers I will put a pic on.

Geoff I would hang on to yours.

Sounds like Dracunculus vulgaris. Mine has just finished flowering.

When it is in flower stick your nose in it and give a good hard sniff.
