Humm...I'm from the 'old school' and that to me is not the way to wear a plaid suit but that's th 'Fashion' these days.

Do the Clothes Make the Man? No; that requires one man, one woman and a 9 month wait to see if they need to have another go.

Is that the one one that screams/screeches in an eerie manner on a dark and stormy night.

Just had a look and that fashion advice was posted 11 years ago and thus is "so old fashioned" you really wouldn't.

Coco Chanel was fundamentally wrong; perhaps in the France of her time that was the case in the circles she moved in.
However I've always found and believed that you remember the personality, intelligence, grace and looks of the lady regardless of their dress.
Some are memorable in baggy track suit bottoms and aged, well washed Tee shirts. Others in designer clothes you forget as soon as they walk away and the next day even the clothes are forgotten.

I think in the UK climate, if you forget your clothes, you're in trouble!

I don't know anyone who wears high fashion to garden, or do a Boxing Day, NY Day or other cold water swim.

If by that question they mean clothes have to be expensive for the person to look good I would say they are totally wrong. I look like a sack tied with string no matter what I wear. My missus on the other hand is always being complimented on what she wears by random people in the street and in shops. As she buys most of her clothes from Primark, price obviously doesn't come into it.
