Think it's just one of those things. I did go away for a few days during that hot spell and they weren't watered regularly, which might have checked their growth.

The plants are healthy though, so I'm sure they'll pick up - and once they do get going there is no stopping them.

Nice one Snowbaby. Went away fishing for a few days & came back to a marrow, gotta pick them regular. Tried oak smoking some last night, otherwise been sprinkling with salt & leaving them for 20 mins, this draws the water out, pat them dry & then shallow fry em.

Thanks! I made my own recipe up haha!

    2 courgettes: 1 sliced, 1 grated
    half onion, chopped
    tin of chopped tomatoes
    squirt of tomato puree
    sprinkle of garlic powder
    grated cheese

Fry the onion & both courgettes until they are slightly softening
add the tomatoes, puree, garlic powder
Simmer for a few mins, add the cheese until it's melted

I used it sprinkled over 2 chicken breasts then ovened it for 30mins @ 200C. It was delicious!!!
