I,ve come back from a two day works meeting and my first ever cue plant is looking good. Over two foot high and has very small cues, my wife has been watering it and she rang her dad to ask abiut taking off the 'top flower' .. ..to my surprise he said he's not sure, (he's grown cues in his greenhouse)
Does anyone think I should take the top off? Its supposed to be a mini cue plant, I thought it would be something new (to me) to grow, plus growing radish this year..so two new veg to add to our little mobile home garden of vegie foods. Thanks, M

No - the 'traditional' way of training cucumbers is to tie them up strings/canes till they hit the roof of the g.house then you can nip out the top. It will then try and produce lots of side shoots, it's up to you how many you want to keep. I usually let a couple of them trail down from the top.
