Hello all you lovely knowledgeable people. Couple of q's here.....is it too late to plant these sets now? I'm in the North of England btw. Also due to lack of space could I grow these in a dustbin?
    TIA

Doubt you'd have much luck, don't think they will keep 'till next year. It might be interesting tosee what happens, if you want to experiment, but my guess would be "as expected". Perhaps someone else has tried?

I think its too late personally, the days are now getting shorter.
You could perhaps still get something edible, just not a good sized onion that will store well.
