Hi, I still have quite a few still going here in Poole, the strongest is Iceberg with about 15 to 20 blooms, others still in bloom or bud include Ard's Rover, Calypso, Ferdinand Pichard, Queen Elizabeth, Fred Loads and about 3 others I don't have names for.

Might be interesting to know where else the flowering season is extended and also which varieties feature.

Hi Mike,We still have Dublin Bay out in flower at the moment. It has flowered continuously all year.It is a nice red colour but doesn't have much scent. It was a charity one reccomended by Dermont Gavin? We also had last week our Compassion rose in flower and that is despite Mr Kandy having to cut it back because it was heading for the roof guttering.

By the way we are in the Midlands [IMG]

Hi. I've left one unpruned because I like to give my MBH a fresh rose on Xmas Day. The rest of them were winter-pruned in October and they're fast asleep. Shhhh

I have a patio rose given to me by a client as a thank you for training her dog. Problem is no space to put it since the woman up the top let her fir's grow so high we don't get light to the patio very much :(

It's kind of sadly still sitting in the pot. I think it will end up in the extension. Don't want to give it away as it has sentimental value.

    Cajary,

Mine are in a very deep slumber now. I have a clematis growing through the large one, it is a rather gorgeous purple :D

Ag. I grow Morning Glories through mine, in the Summer, so when I winter-prune them the MG's are finished as well [IMG]

And I'm just as swift it seems..... :D

I just took this pic' of a rose that came to us in a small pot as a 'garage forecourt' gift and has been planted out in the garden for the last three years. Considering the neglect my garden has suffered over the past few months I'm surprised even that has flowered!

Picked today (Christmas day), mostly Iceberg with 1 Fred Loads, looking a bit pale compared to summer, 1 Ard's Rover bud and can't recall the name of the apricot one, also one Fuschia from a plant which has been in full bloom for near a month just starting to go over.
