I always eat my Rosemary anyway, especially if any has dropped into the fat and been " fried " .

Honestly, it'd depend on my health. :noidea: My paternal grandmother lived until her 90s, but she had bad mobility problems, digestive issues, alzheimers and had a stroke not long before her death. :frown:
(On the other hand, my aunt on my maternal side is in her 70s and still rides horses, so it could go either way, haha.)

Only if there are no mirrors where I live and as @Becky76 says, if I am capable of independence. ..fat chance of that!

Rosemary is a brilliant herb. Don't try this at home. Don't stick a few sprigs of rosemary in a cup and then pour boiling water in, then stick a saucer on top to prevent the oil from escaping with the steam, then wait for it to cool. If you do do that, don't drink it immediately before going to bed. And if you ignore this advice, don't blame me if you wake up the next morning, soaked in your own sweat, full of emotion, having had the most vividly realistically intensive dreams.

Rosemary might help you live to 100. It has well documented health benefits. It could also be your demise though so take care. If you're blood pressure is high, rosemary can, in some circumstances, raise it higher to dangerous levels. Rosemary is anti inflammatory by dilating fine blood vessels. That's good in most situations. It's also a mild stimulant. Mild stimulant plus increased blood circulation to the brain can generate the aforesaid crazy vivid dreams, and all the physiological reactions that go with that.

Do I want to live to 100? No.

If only I had known that when I was going through puberty:roflol:

I have low blood pressure so maybe I should use more. I use it with lambs mince in cottage pie and Moussaka.

So good for my neck strain that I've had all week then.

If living to 100 these days, the chances are you'll be subject to many years of incontinence and dementia and have your life's savings and home taken from you.

It's also great when used as a skewer for cherry tomatoes (or hallumi/chicken/mushrooms) on the BBQ.
And poked into a lamb joint before roasting (ditto garlic cloves).
A rosemary and sultana loaf makes fab toast topped with a fruit compot!
Ooh yes, and in the summer, open a bottle of red, drop in a sprig of rosemary, leave to "steep" for the day and come evening .... chin-chin! [IMG]

Rosemary and basil are my two favourite herbs.

                            But, I won't be living to 100 ;)

I use essential oil of rosemary as a muscle rub for sprains and bruises and such. Note that you should test a little bit for skin reaction first, some people report a burningsensation when they use it neat.

One Thursday, at our martial club, a muscle in my leg went twang while doing a kick. I literally nearly fell over because my leg literally stopped working instantly. I staggered to the side and was out for the rest of the training session.I was gutted because on the following Saturday we had an event on, in which I was supposed to be participating.

I used copious amounts of rosemary oil day and night, including on the Saturday morning. I was able to participate fully.
