Does anyone have problem with rats in the garden or drains?

    Does anyone have problem with rats in the garden or drains?
    I am happy to offer a free advice how to deal with the rats.
    I am rat control expert :)

      My next door neighbour has had a rat problem for over two years. He just can't work out how they get in. He can hear them scrabbling about under floorboards. We were certain we could hear them scratching inside his stink pipe which is adjacent to our side door, so they must be coming up the drain.

      Last year we got a cat and it seems to have frightened away the rats or just a big coincidence. Our neighbour hasn't heard them since new cat started prowling around. Do cats scare them away?

      Hi John,
      We have put vent covers on all our vents, as we can hear them in the walls... two bait boxes in the loft as we can hear them scrabbling around, and a trip up the loft shows droppings and shredded foam pipe insulation gathered in one spot ... the dog has eyeballed a crack in the path today where a tunnel runs between what was once the base of a shed (you could see all tunnels under the base when I lifted it... I filled them in) and the house... I'm tempted to pop some bait into the crack...
      Any advice greatly appreciated
