Is it possibly a wild Iris? ... it is very small but they are all over the place at the caravan on the hillside by the river at the moment and I can't identify it or find it in my Med Wildflower book ...

Actually Little A I was thinking the Gladiolus triphyllus but it is as listed as pale pink and mine is obviously purple and it says it is endemic to Cyprus. There are so many of them, I will photograph again next week when more are open, this is the first.

I don't know why I even suggested Iris as t'other half and I both said wild Gladioli ... :rolleyespink:

Could well be Ss but they seem to be single flowers .... I should have lots and lots and lots open next week after our rains and sunshine so will come back with more photos.

They are just so exquisite and delicate and just all over the place.
