Hello, i have never grown cucumbers before and the one i picked up from the garden center has white marks coming off of it. Almost spikey looking. A bit of change to the leaf to but just in structure, it doesnt have any white marks other than on the stem.

I was hoping someone could confirm if its okay or not incase i need to keep it away from my other plants.

    Its a F1 cucumber plant

    Any opinions would be appreciated.

    Thanks 20220328_080133.jpg 20220328_080320.jpg

Looks ok to me, those white bumps are root buds and are quite normal. Some varieties are more spiky than others.

It is very early to have cucumbers I don't sow mine until April, as they are very tender. Where will it be planted?
